WHO IS THE HARD GEL EXTENSIONS COURSE FOR?
This 1-day course is aimed at nail technicians looking to expand their gel knowledge and add a new extension service to their mani menu.

Available in various colours, GelPot is perfect for sculpting extreme yet natural looking extensions — either as a natural nail overlay or with nail forms.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This course will refresh your knowledge of nail health, safety and hygiene, which includes anatomy and physiology of the natural nail and skin and any specific product actions and contraindications.
You will learn how to apply GelPot with and without forms to create a variety of looks including reverse French, as well as infills and how to safely remove the hard gel.

Please be aware that the completion of our courses does not grant you credits for a State Nail Technician License. It is important to consult your State Board of Cosmetology for accurate information regarding licensing requirements.
TGB Light The Way Lamp must be purchased or bought with you on the day of the course.

What time does my course finish?
Times will vary for different courses and locations. This Hard Gel Extensions course is 8 hours. However, start times will differ depending on the location, and finish times will vary based on the size and needs of the group.
Where will my course be held?
Course locations are displayed underneath each educator's profile on the TGB Academy website. Please check before booking your training.
Do I need to bring anything specific to my course?
Each course and location will have its own requirements as to what you need to bring. Your educator will contact you 1-2 weeks before your training date with all the course details, expectations and any items you need. If you would like more information, you can contact your educator via your Academy account.
Do I need a hand model?
You do not need a hand model — you’ll be working on yourself / another student, so please ensure you arrive without product on your nails.
Is a kit included in my course?
A kit is not included in the price of the Hard Gel Extensions course. You have the option to add a Starter Kit to your booking (you will be taken to a separate web page before you pay for the course). This can be the full starter kit as recommended, or you can customise to create your own.
You must only use TGB gels and the TGB Light the Way Lamp for this course, but any files / tools etc you have at home can be used.
