About me

Hi, I'm Darry a self confessed nail addict!

Originally from the UK, I decided to take my love of painting nails to the next level and live out my dream of owning my own nail studio and having a successful career as a self employed nail technician. Five years later I am now the proud owner of Nineteen Nail Studio located in Central Auckland.

My journey into the nail industry began in 2018 at Preston’s College where I completed the VTCT Level 2 Certificate In Nail Treatments. I loved everything about this course and knew I wanted to learn even more so I went on to complete the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology at The National Training Salon Ltd in Manchester. It was during this course that I discovered and fell in love with The Gel Bottle and knew my next step was to train with them directly.

After completing my training with TGB in 2019 I haven’t looked back! I love everything about TGB brand, their amazing range of products, their constant commitment to being at the forefront of the nail industry and their dedication to providing the very best nail training.

I truly believe that using TGB has helped me establish a successful business here in New Zealand which is why I wanted to become part of TGB NZ Academy. As your educator I’m excited to share all my experience, knowledge, tips and tricks when using TGBs innovative products and for you to leave with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve your own nail dreams.

About Training Venue

SANDRINGHAM VENUE: 

The training venue is situated in Sandringham, Auckland just a 10 minute drive from the CBD and just 5 minutes away from the North Western Motorway. There is plenty of off street parking outside the venue. 

My aim is to have small classes so I can spend time with each student so you walk away feeling confident using all the products we cover in the training.

Your training kit will be awaiting your arrival at the course, along with complimentary tea/coffee/refreshments.

There is a kitchen area complete with a fridge and microwave which you are welcome to use.
