About me
Hi and welcome! My name is Jennifer.
I’m a licensed nail technician, salon owner, and proud new TGB educator. I’m the founder of a salon, (est. in Upstate NY in 2010), where we specialize in gel services, focusing on structured manicures and detailed hand painted designs our clients love. I still take clients a few days a week.
I first discovered The GelBottle in 2018, and that single order completely changed the trajectory of my career. After years of using products that left me frustrated and underwhelmed, I was instantly drawn to TGB’s wide color range, high-shine finish, and long lasting results. And no shrink gel was a game changer!!
My faves:
Colors: My first love was shade Michelle, she’s gorgeous. TGB’s flash glitters are unmatched, and as a sheer nude girly, I truly believe TGB has some of the most beautiful, smooth application nudes in the industry.
Base: The Rubber Base Coat quickly became my go-to for gel manicures and as a BIAB base. It delivers consistent, reliable results. Even on thin or weak natural nails, manicures last.
Extensions & Repairs: Proform is a staple in my kit. Whether I’m building, repairing, or overlaying long nails, it’s a product I love and trust. It’s so easy to work with and the results are amazing.
BIAB: The star of the show. When I first ordered BIAB, I didn’t know what a structured manicure was and had never used builder gel before. I taught myself through trial and error and once I mastered it, it became the foundation of my business. I love its smooth consistency and the level of precision it allows in my application.
My journey in the nail industry hasn’t been a straight line. As a fully self-taught nail tech, I faced years of challenges figuring things out on my own. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when others make it look easy, but you don’t have the guidance to get there. Nobody to turn to and ask questions. It was hard, but it also taught me so much. I did eventually meet people who I look up to and made me realize just how important it is to build a community and be educated in this always changing industry.
I want to be that person for you. That’s exactly why I chose to become an educator.
With over 15 years of salon experience, I’m passionate about helping nail techs build confidence, refine their skills, and grow their careers with the right knowledge and suppor
